<div itemprop="description">1951-2017 <br>Steven Talbot, 65, of Windsor went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20th, 2017 at Windsor Regional Hospital. Dear husband of the late JoAnne Talbot (1992) with whom he shared 15 years of marriage. His memory will be cherished by his loving children, Steven (Marta) Talbot and Stephanie (Billy) Patterson; adored grandchildren, Janelle, Billy Jr., Janessa, Steven III, Aubrey, Braydon and Avery; beloved brother to Beth (Ken) Luxford, Timothy (Cora) Talbot and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Steven was predeceased by his parents Myron Talbot and Mary E. Talbot; brother-in-law, Lucky Taylor. Steven was a proud employee with Chryslers where he gladly accepted the roles of linesman, trainer and a teacher for the CAW. Among his accomplishments during his employment included founding the CAW Aboriginal/Workers of Colour Caucus of Windsor and Essex County in 1994 and was an Alternate Union Steward for over 4 1/2 years. His many passions in his personal life besides his love of family included succeeding great levels in Martial Arts. He was an amazing baseball player, playing for many different leagues including his church league. He was famous for his homeruns! Steven loved writing, playing and singing. Music had a special place in his heart. His favourites were Blues, Reggae, and Praise and Worship. To extend his passion in music, he was a member of a band called Praise Unlimited. In the last 10 years he was a participant with W.O.R.D. Ministry. <br>Friends may call at the MORRIS SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 68 Giles Blvd. E. 519 254 8633 <br>on Thursday, February 23rd, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Morris Sutton Funeral Home, on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
