<div itemprop="description">Marion Olive Wells was graceful, strong, a symbol of peace. This is how she lived her life. <br><br>At sunrise on December 29, 1921 in Brantford, Ontario Marion Olive Wells was born to William Oaklahoma (Oakie) Stewart and Irene Isabelle (Marshall). On Saturday May 7, 2016 she passed from this earth. Marion was preceded in death by husbands Javan Woodcock and Otho Wells, her sister Helen Edith Kutzman and brother Ralph Owen Stewart.<br><br>Her youth was spent in Windsor, Ontario where she joined the BME Church and accepted the Lord at an early age. Marion attended church faithfully with her family. Marion often said, “This is my church”! Up until her death, she continued to faithfully give offerings and pay her tithes to the church. <br><br>Marion Wells later moved to Detroit, Michigan in 1941 and worked as a bookkeeper for the A & P until she retired.<br><br>Marion stayed active. Even in her 90s and up until her death Marion worked sometimes a few hours for sometimes 5 days a week in her building. and loved to travel. Even in her 90’s and up until her death she volunteered in her building. She “worked” at least 5 days a week for a couple of hours each day. She knew all of the residents and would call them by name. She always had a smile for everyone she met. In return everyone gave her respect and loved her. She also worked for Focus Hope and was honored by them several times.<br><br>Marion loved being with family and friends especially when it included visits to the Golden Coral, Famous Daves, The Cheese Cake Factory and Charming Charlies. She also liked to spend weekends with family in Windsor and Toronto. <br><br>She will truly be missed by nieces, nephews, Wilhemine, sister in law Barbara and good faithful friend Arlene Gionet. <br><br>Although she is gone her many cousins have wonderful memories of a lovely women. <br></div>
