Beloved husband of Donna (nee McDonald/Meyrick). Cherished father of Robert Robinson (Carol); Ted Robinson (Ray Wise) of Chicago, Il; Lynda Sandre (Claudio); Marty Robinson (Carrie Rodgers). Loving Dad to Ken Meyrick (Lynn) of Cranbrook, BC; Kathy Villeneuve-Lafreniere (Mark). Proud Grampa to Jaime St. Pierre (Randy); Jason Sandre (Melony Demchuk); Cameron Meyrick; Kyle, Nicole (fianc&eacute; Alex Ward) and Adam Villeneuve; and Kayla Rennison. Great grampa to Flynn Sandre. <br /><br />Eldon was the eldest son of the late Duncan &amp; Christina (Campbell) Robinson. Also survived by sisters Isobel Rutter (Bob); Kathleen Given (late Bud); Marion Massecar (late Ray); Leah Tucker (late Elbern) and Brenda Heyblom (Peter) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers John (Rita) and Ron and his sister Madeline (Grenville) Moore.<br /><br />Eldon was born in Owen Sound, Ontario on October 30, 1927, raised on the Bruce Penninsula at Pike Bay Ontario, coming to Windsor in 1956. <br /><br />Eldon retired from Apex Express in 1995. <br /><br />Special thanks to WRH Met Campus 4North staff for their compassionate care.<br /><br />Visiting will take place at Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home, 1525 Hwy 3, Oldcastle (519-969-3939) on Sunday, Sept. 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery.<br /><br />In kindness, memorial donations made to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.<br /><br />You may leave your condolences online at www.msuttonfuneral.ca<br /></div>
