Dorothy Price
February 8, 1916 - September 2, 2016
PRICE, Dorothy “Dot” Olive (nee Beadow)
February 8, 1916-September 2, 2016
I held her hand, My Mom, My Best Friend as she slipped quietly and peacefully away September 2, 2016 at W.R.H. Met Campus. Predeceased by the love of her life, husband Bob (1991) and her son Robert (2011). One of nine children, she came to Canada at 13 years of age with her parents Alfred and Dorothy Beadow and six siblings from the UK. She loved her family, home, sewing, gardening, astrology, lottery tickets and was an avid bowler well into her 90’s. She is survived by daughter Nancy, Grand-dog Riley, two sisters, many nieces and nephews and 2 granddaughters. Thank you to all those who helped care for her, Dr. Shaw in the ER, the nurses on the 5th and 4th WEST floors, especially Kellie. A very special thank you to Dr. Seski! Always smiling and happy with a twinkle in her eye, she saw the best in everyone. She will be missed but never forgotten. Visitation will be held at Morris Sutton Funeral Home, 68 Giles Blvd (519-254-8633) on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
