<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doreen, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, on October 21, 2012 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Fleming and Lionel Ouellette. Loving mother of Valerie Caradonna and husband Joe, and the late Donald Fleming. Cherished grandmother of Jason Caradonna (Laurie), and Jennifer Caradonna (Dan Gillis). Great-grandmother of MacKenzie, Lucas and Syndney. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Merle Gilkinson and siblings &lsquo;Peggy&rsquo; Delores Walsh and husband John, and William Gilkinson. Survived by nieces Delores, Robyn, Kim and nephew Clark and wife Rose. Doreen worked at Electroline in shipping and receiving for many years. She enjoyed walking, reading and spending time at her trailer in Mitchell&rsquo;s Bay. The family would like to thank the staff at Royal Oak Long Term Care &lsquo;Oak Neighbourhood&rsquo; for their wonderful care and compassion, and to the Chaplain Victoria Mouck.&nbsp; Visitation will be held at Victoria Greenlawn Memorial Chapel 1525 Hwy #3 (1 Block west of Walker Rd.) on Thursday, October 25, 2012 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 pm with a Service to Celebrate Doreen&rsquo;s Life at 7:30 pm. Cremation to follow. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Friday October 26, 2012 at 4 pm . Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Easter Seals.
