<div itemprop="description">(nee Bronia Kurzawska) <br />Peacefully with her family by her side, on April 11, 2013 at the age of 89, after a courageous battle. Bernice was born on January 13, 1924 in Rozlopy, Poland. Loving mother to Mike and Lyn Jamotte, Dan Jamotte and Ginette Hoyland, Rick and Sue Jamotte. Dear &quot;Babcia&quot; to Monique Jamotte, Michelle Afransis (Ilian), Melissa Heron and Katie Jamotte. Great grandmother to Quinten and Parker Folster, Jayna Park and Emily Heron. During WWII she spent 3 years in a work camp in Stendal Germany, lived in Belgium for a time, and in 1951 the family immigrated to Canada. Bernice enjoyed being independent, keeping her house until December 2012 and was very proud of her flower and vegetable gardens. Predeceased by her parents Pawel and Agnes (Kolodriejcryk), sister Maria and brothers Michal and Joseph. Survived by nieces and nephews in Poland. Special thank you to nurse Josie from Paramed, CCAC and the wonderful, caring staff and devoted volunteers at The Hospice Residential Home, whose expertise and compassion will always be cherished. Friends are welcome to join the family on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home, 68 Giles Blvd East, 519-254-8633 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service for Bernice will take place at the Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home, 1525 Hwy 3 (1 km west of Walker Road) on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
